Tuition fees
*All Fees are due by the first week of each Month.
*There will be four (4) - five (5) live sessions per subject, per month. There are some months a subject will have five (5) Live Sessions. This is a bonus class and will be used as a RESERVE class.
*There will be no Live Class on a Public Holiday (Trinidad and Tobago).
*Your fee is a Subscription Fee and gives you access to - Live Classes, Class Notes, Previous Class Recordings, Past Papers 24/7. Fees are NOT based on the number of Live Sessions attended per month.
*Full payments are made for each month the student is enrolled, including December, April and May.
*Leave of absences (e.g. skipping one month and then rejoining) is not allowed.
*If payments are not made within a reasonable amount of time, we will have no choice but to remove the student from the class.
*If student/parent refuses to pay outstanding fees, the academy reserves the right to retrieve outstanding fees via our third party debt collector.
*After payments are made each month, a copy of the receipt must be sent via WhatsApp to (868) 322-5863 or emailed to info@modernmindsacademy.com. If this is not done, your account will not be updated.
*If the student drops out of classes and stays logged into Google. If the student wishes to leave the academy must be immediately informed.
*If a student enroll, log into Google Classrooms and choses to drop out, fees would not be refunded.
Information regarding live classes
*When joining using Zoom, Google Meet or YouTube, please use your full name.
*Names that are not familiar will not be granted access to join the live class from the waiting room. ALL students must be protected from potential cyber security attacks.
*All live classes are recorded and will be posted within 48 hours.
*The preferred device for viewing the live class is a laptop, PC or tablet. It can be viewed on a mobile but can be challenging for some students.
* Cameras on is mandatory for primary school students.
*Mics must be off, unless answering a question
*Students are expected to respond when asked a question in class, even if they don’t know the answer. (Some students use the excuse that their microphone is not working). Students are to pay attention to what is being taught in class. No other tabs should be open (e.g. Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp etc.)
*If a student does not understand a topic or concept, they are required to ask in the Live Class either verbally or written. Parents are advised to check in on their students randomly when class is in progress.
*All assignments given in class are to be completed on time in order to be corrected and returned.
*A live class can be cancelled because of electricity failure/Internet disruption/unforeseen emergency. This is very rare. If it does happen, then one of the RESERVE classes used previously for that subject will be added to that month. If there is NO RESERVE day, a pre-recorded class will be done, or an online assignment/exam given.
*Students will not be refunded or discounted if they miss a class, all classes are recorded, therefore the student can simply log in to access the class that was missed.
*If a student is disruptive or disrespectful, the tutor can remove the student for the remainder of that session.
